In a unexpected crossover event that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.
The mission focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
