Amy Schumer Reveals Split from Spouse of Seven-Year Marriage
Comedian and actress Amy Schumer has announced that she and her husband, chef Chris Fischer are getting a divorce after seven years of marriage.
The renowned comedian said in a social media post on recently, accompanied by a picture of the pair on a train, that they had made the "tough choice" to separate and will keep prioritizing parenting their young child.
"Peaceful, filled with love and mutual respect! Family forever," she wrote.
Both in their mid-forties, have been married since February 2018 and had their son a year later.

Schumer also joked in the online announcement that the split is not due to recent weight loss and not prompted by Fischer's status as an "award winning chef who can still turn heads".
Fischer won the renowned James Beard award in the U.S. Culinary category for his culinary guide published in 2015.

They were featured together on the Food Network reality show Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, which ran during lockdowns.
They additionally co-starred during a docuseries Amy's Pregnancy Journey that documented her journey, who has been open about having a medical condition, during her difficult pregnancy.
