Los Angeles witnessed widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Fans worldwide united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the initial time in a quarter-century that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Local celebrations included a procession through the city center on Monday morning, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage show thousands of Angelenos flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.

Celebrations began well before the procession, with Dodgers fans lighting flares in the streets of Downtown Los Angeles on the previous evening.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto, awarded the MVP of the championship, commented plainly about the win.

In contrast, Mark Walter was met with a less warm reception at the rally. Recordings from the event seem to depict Walter taking the stage to a combination of cheers and boos, with negative shouts interrupting his address.
The championship acted as a positive moment in what has been a trying year for the city. An estimated 225,000 people attended to the championship parade last year, and according to team member Freddie Freeman, supporters this year demonstrated equal or greater enthusiasm.
“I feel like it’s nearly twice from last year,” Freeman remarked. “These fans are crazy. It’s so awesome to be a involved in this.”
