Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along significant areas of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to pull in damp air against the shoreline.

The following day was expected to become the heaviest precipitation period, with ongoing severe weather risk expected across multiple regions of both regions.
