An extensive two-month journey circling Australia was terminated following the tragic passing of an senior female passenger who was abandoned by the ship on a distant island.

The passenger had been hiking on the tropical location with shipmates from the vessel, but separated from the group for a break. The vessel left without her and went back several hours later after the ship staff discovered the lady was missing.

"Based on limited information we have been told, it looks that there was a breakdown of attention and ordinary reasoning," she stated.

She continued that she desired the inquiry would be able to identify what "the operator should have done that might have saved Her life".
