Passionate followers of the actress are urging that a man who breached a barrier and touched the actress during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be detained or expelled from Singapore.

A circulating video reveals the Australian man pushing past media personnel and lunging at Grande while the performers proceeded down a promenade flanked by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the event by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being taken in", though legal records indicated that he was due to be present on the next day. It is unknown if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Disruptions

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is obviously a legal violation," stated an Instagram commenter, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user wrote.

Followers Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the finale of her May 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote another comment on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted event staff at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while some called for social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In footage circulating online, Grande seemed shocked when she was grabbed by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.
