Vince Zampella, Dies in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, the mind behind the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a vehicle crash in the state of California he was 55 years old.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The renowned video game developer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
